Your first visit, start to finish
Getting started is simple. From your first visit to your final goal, you’ll receive personalized care focused on helping you move better, feel stronger, and get back to what you love.
Before you book
Physical therapy: misconception vs reality
MISCONCEPTION
“PT is just a few exercises and stretches.”
- Quick fixes only
- Same plan for everyone
- Just for injuries
REALITY
Physical therapy is personalized care that looks at how your body moves, what may be causing pain or stiffness, and how to help you move better in everyday life.
- Personalized treatment plans
- Hands-on care and education
- Focused on long-term progress
- Strength, mobility and balance support
- Help for pain, recovery and prevention
The goal is not to hand you a generic exercise sheet and send you on your way, but to understand what is going on, explain it clearly, and build a plan together that fits you, your lifestyle and goals to achieve long-term success — whether that’s pain relief, increased mobility or post-op recovery.
Four steps, and none of them are a waiting room
01
Schedule Your Visit
Schedule your appointment directly with Connect Physical Therapy—no referral is needed in North Dakota.
Call or text 701-318-4731, use the online portal, or send a request through the contact form.
02
Personalized Evaluation
Alison will learn about your symptoms, lifestyle, movement, and goals.
She watches how you actually move, not just where it hurts. Bring your completed intake paperwork.
03
Start Your Treatment Plan
Begin a personalized plan with hands-on treatment and targeted exercises.
You leave the first visit with something to do, not just an appointment for next week.
04
Get Back to What You Love
Build strength, confidence, and mobility to return to the activities you enjoy.
Progress is measured against your goals, not a standard protocol.
What to bring
- Your completed intake paperwork, emailed ahead or brought with you
- Your insurance card and photo ID
- Clothing you can move in — shorts or loose trousers if the problem is a knee or hip
- Any imaging reports or surgical notes, if you have them
Draft list — confirm with Alison before publishing.
