Who We Help
TMJ & Jaw Pain
No referral needed
You don’t need a doctor’s referral to start physical therapy in North Dakota.
Physical therapists treat jaws. Most people do not know that.
The jaw is a joint, with muscles around it and a neck underneath it, and it responds to the same kind of assessment and hands-on treatment as any other joint.
Most people arrive here having already seen a dentist. That is often the right first step and sometimes the whole answer. When it is not, the muscles and the joint itself are worth looking at.
Treatment typically combines manual therapy with dry needling where appropriate, plus exercises for the jaw and the neck together.
