Fargo Physical Therapy
Fargo Physical Therapy Services
Five approaches, one therapist. Most treatment plans use more than one of them, chosen after Alison has watched how you actually move.
Vestibular Therapy
Treatment of the inner ear — positional vertigo, post-concussion symptoms, dizziness and imbalance. The specialty Alison writes about most, and the one fewest Fargo clinics offer.
Manual Therapy
Hands-on treatment of joints and soft tissue. Alison is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist, a designation earned through an 18-month residency.
Dry Needling
A thin needle placed into muscle tissue to help release tension. Alison is specially trained in dry needling and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.
A consent form is completed before your first session. Dry Needling Consent Form
Often used together
Manual therapy and dry needling are frequently part of the same plan, alongside exercises you do between visits.
Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Recovery from injury, surgery and long-standing joint pain. Alison is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a credential held by a small fraction of practising physical therapists.
Injury Prevention & Performance
Pain isn’t always the best predictor of how your body is functioning during your everyday activities. You may have stiffness and loss of function that PT can identify and help you perform at your best, no matter what your activity level is.

Don’t know which one you need?
Most people don’t. You know where it hurts, not which technique treats it — and choosing is Alison’s job, not yours. Start from the symptom instead.
